DAY OF DISCOVERY: CABRILLO MARINE AQUARIUM
CMA - whale room.jpeg

With our ideal location, the beach is transformed into an outdoor classroom to learn about sea life! At Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, students visit different stations to discover information about local, unique animals and marine habitats and what it takes to be a steward of the ocean environment.  Docents lead talks and activities like grunion hatching and jelly dancing at the stations on the beach and groups can enter the aquarium before we open to the public.
