Descanso Gardens, one of Southern California's most popular attractions, is an unforgettable, sure-to-inspire experience! Students will investigate several of California's native habitats, draw correlations between living and non-living components, and record observations in journals provided.

 KEY INFORMATION:

  • Currently being offered Wednesdays and Thursdays (except for holidays)

  • Focus on anticipated Next Generation Science Standards

  • Grades TK - 5

  • Capacity of 50 - 60 attendance required (students + adults)

  • No entrance fee!

  • Arrive at 9:30 am, depart at 1:30 pm

  • Schools must provide transportation and lunch

  • Program operates August - June
