This lesson will introduce and elaborate the basic needs for plant survival.

Students will differentiate between carnivores, herbivores and omnivores with a focus on carnivore traits. They will learn that specialized features, specifically teeth and eye positioning on the head, help to determine if an animal is a predator or a prey.
