DAY OF DISCOVERY: SOUTH COAST BOTANIC GARDEN

At South Coast Botanic Garden, botany is synonymous with adventure! Students get to explore a variety of habitats native to Southern California while learning about the ecosystems within them.

 KEY INFORMATION:

  • Focus on anticipated Next Generation Science Standards

  • Grades 3 - 5

  • Capacity of 50 - 150 attendance required (students + adults)

  • No entrance fee! ($9 per person fee is waived)

  • Arrive at 10:00 am, depart at 1 pm

  • Schools must provide transportation and lunch

  • Program operates August - June

  • Currently being offered Mondays - Fridays except for holidays
